Rachel Ninomiya is a program assistant for Arts and Culture.

Prior to joining Mellon, Rachel worked in archives and collections management at the Calder Foundation, where she researched and digitized images, historic photos, correspondence, and related ephemera and administrated loans and logistics for the Foundation’s art collection. She provided archival support at the Richard Avedon Foundation. Rachel also held front-of-house positions at museums in Los Angeles and New York.

She holds a BA in art history from Brooklyn College and is currently pursuing an MA in art history at Hunter College.
