Pierre Tardif is Mellon’s first creative director. In this role, he serves as the senior creative leader across all platforms and drives the visual identity and output of the Foundation.

Previously, Pierre was the design director of WSJ. Magazine, where he redesigned the print publication and ushered their expansion into digital and video, earning several gold and silver awards from the Society of Publication Designers. He has also art directed ad campaigns and designed books for art and fashion clients.

He holds a BFA in communications design from Parsons School of Design, The New School. Pierre serves as board secretary of St. John’s Lodge No. 1 Foundation.
